San Diego Lodging Performance – April 14-20, 2019

San Diego Lodging Performance – April 7-13, 2019

In the second week of April, San Diego saw decreased hotel occupancy rates compared to last year, though most regions experienced an increase in average daily rates.  Occupancy rates ranged from 69 percent in Del Mar/Oceanside to 85.9 percent Downtown.  The only region to have improved in occupancy compared to last year was I-15 Corridor with a modest 1.3 percent increase.  … [Read more...] about San Diego Lodging Performance – April 7-13, 2019

March 2019 Hotel Performance

San Diego hotels in the month of March averaged 80.3 percent occupancy, down 3.8 percent compared to last year.  The average daily rate (ADR) was $162.21, up 1.4 percent from last year.  The largest impact to March’s performance was the wide spread in spring breaks due to a late Easter holiday this year, with breaks among the school districts in the drive markets split between … [Read more...] about March 2019 Hotel Performance
