In the last full week of June 2019, hotels in most regions of San Diego experienced modest growth in occupancy rates as well as average daily rates. In the 25th week of 2019, San Diego hotels had average occupancy rates ranging from 83.7% in Escondido to 88.4% in the UTC region. San Diego hotels in the month of May averaged 74.2 percent occupancy, down 4.4 percent compared to 2018. The average daily rate (ADR) was $166.03, a 3 percent improvement over last year.
