Weekly Hotel Performance – January 17-23, 2021

Hotel room demand remained stable while still under stay at home orders. During the third week of 2021, San Diego County sold 11,000 more room nights than the week prior to total 152,700 room nights sold.Sunday sold the least amount of room nights throughout the county with 18,590 sold, while Monday through Wednesday were flat at around 20,600 rooms sold each night. November 2020 Visitor Industry Total visitor volume for November was estimated at 1,159,000, a decline of 3.8% from October and 57.1% below last November.Overnight visitors to the region totaled an estimated 813,000, a 7% improvement over October, but a 48% decline compared to November last year.
