San Diego experienced unseasonably warm weather last week, with temperatures roughly 20 degrees above normal for this time of year. The great weather helped boost demand by nearly 30,000 room nights over the previous week to a total of 280,779 room nights sold. Hotel demand in San Diego declined slightly this week, selling a total of 251,540 room nights throughout the county. San Diego hosted the Farmers Insurance Open from Jan. 26 to 29 at Torrey Pines, which helped boost hotel demand by nearly 18,000 room nights over the previous week.
