Travel Trade Director, Brian Said attended the Luxury Travel Expo, which took place in Las Vegas from December 6 – 8, 2011. Joined by 4 member hotels and one attraction, San Diego they showcased a unique and dynamic presentation by using the San Diego branded bus as their booth. The expo was attended by approximately 2000 travel agents, responsible for collectively booking $2 billion in travel last year. Eager to increase their knowledge of luxury travel products, the team made important contacts and created a palpable buzz for San Diego.
Benjamin Eastman and Jigger Abendano were also in Las Vegas, from December 5-9, attending the NTA Annual Conference. The team met with nearly 50 group motor coach tour operators during the 5-day conference. Also exhibiting at the conference were 17 ConVis member hotels and attractions, creating a strong presence for San Diego at this annual conference.
