- San Diego hotels reported a total of 362,464 room nights, an increase of approximately 24,000 room nights compared to the same week in the previous year.
- The market recorded an average occupancy rate of 77.8%, representing a 4.2% year-over-year increase. Among the top 25 U.S. markets, San Diego ranked 6th in occupancy and 2nd within the western region behind San Francisco (79.2%).
- The top-performing U.S. markets for the week were New York (89.6%), Boston (83.7%), and Washington (80%).
- Within San Diego, the highest occupancy rates were observed in Downtown (82.7%), Pt. Loma (80.9%), and UTC (80.4%) submarkets.
- ADR reached $218, an 8% increase over the same period last year. RevPAR reached $170, up by 12.5% YoY.
- Upscale+ properties sold 69,794 group room nights, an increase of 12,945 room nights year-over-year, with an ADR of $295, up 3.2% from the previous year. RevPAR totaled $99, +11.2% year-over-year.
- Two major events were hosted at the San Diego Convention Center last week, Recycled Materials Association and American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons, contributing 17,855 rooms to the market.
