During the COVID-19 crisis, the San Diego tourism community is coming together and developing creative offerings to help support each other and benefit our region. Each week, the SDTA will share some of the cool things our Members and community partners are doing. Be sure to share your own story here or on social media using #WithLoveSanDiego.

It’s now easier than ever to support local artists and expand your collection of art. The San Diego Art Institute recently launched the Regional Artists Market, an online marketplace featuring functional art—masks, blankets, cards and more—created by local makers and artisans. The marketplace’s aim is to support local artists as well as the San Diego Art Institute, which advances contemporary art across the region by providing unique and meaningful art experiences. Check out the masterpieces created by local artists while supporting a fantastic cause.

Discounts for frontline workers and friends
It is no secret that the current crisis has hit the hospitality industry especially hard. To assist those hospitality workers as well as honor the medical workers who are working tirelessly, Maryjane’s at Hard Rock San Diego has been offering a $5 menu all through the month of April. Bring proof that you are a member of the hospitality or medical industry (pay stub, business card, etc.) and select off the menu of burgers, salads, breakfast items and more, all for just $5.
