Global Entry Arrives at San Diego Airport

August 9, 2012 By Joe Terzi Leave a Comment

On July 31, new Global Entry kiosks went into use at San Diego International Airport, the newest of 27 airports nationwide, with technology that allows enrolled international travelers to bypass passport and baggage control lines by using an automated self-service kiosk. Most travelers are processed in about five minutes.

There is no frequent flyer requirement to apply for the Global Entry program. Upon approval, membership lasts for five years. Learn more about the Global Entry program at www.globalentry.gov.
