Travel Trade Development Pow-Wows at USTA Event

June 7, 2011 By SDTA Staff Leave a Comment

The ConVis Travel Trade Development and Public Relations teams, and a huge San Diego delegation from local attractions, hotels and transportation and tour companies, joined 5,500 attendees at the US Travel Association’s International Pow Wow in San Francisco, May 22 – 26. Travel Trade representatives Brian Said, Benjamin Eastman and Ko Ueno met with over 100 travel trade buyers from key international feeder markets to promote the daily non-stop flights to San Diego from London, Mexico City and Guadalajara, as well as the existing Canada routes. With airlines continuing to add seats from international markets and the US dollar down compared to most major currencies, international travel to the US is on an upswing, and San Diego is in demand.
