Weekly Hotel Performance Update – August 17-23, 2025

August 28, 2025 By JaNelle Corley Leave a Comment

After a volatile spring and early summer, San Diego’s hotel market has stabilized, closing out peak season with performance closely aligned to 2024. Notably, however, room demand should be higher than last year due to the addition of the Gaylord property. July 31, 2025 By JaNelle Corley Leave a Comment

San Diego’s hotel performance continues to be middling—neither bad nor outstanding. This is especially true given that the Gaylord is fully operational. Theoretically, San Diego County should be generating more room nights compared with 2024, but the expected boost hasn’t yet materialized. On a brighter note, however, Comic-Con delivered like it usually does, making last week … [Read more...] about Weekly Hotel Performance Update – July 20-26, 2025
