May 14, 2014 By Nick Leave a Comment

May 16, 9:00 am: Fires are currently occurring in north county regions of San Diego, outside of the city. We are monitoring the situation regarding the fires and will offer updates as necessary to provide an accurate and up-to-date overview for visitors to our region.

Except for occasional road detours in the immediate residential area near the fires, all main highways in San Diego including I-15, I-805, and I-5 are open. San Diego International Airport is open and operating normally.

Impact on visitors to San Diego is minimal.  All of the region’s attractions, beaches and tourist offerings are open for business.
