We have exciting news to share with you – the new sandiego.org mobile website has launched. The site provides visitors an on-the-go resource for travel to San Diego including Member listings for Hotels, Attractions, Restaurants, Transportation and much more.
Member presence on the new mobile site is dependent on the leisure profile currently published for your business through MemberNet. Your MemberNet information automatically feeds to both the desktop and mobile versions of the site. The desktop version displays the full Member profile; the mobile site displays only the first photograph in your gallery, your business information including location and a truncated version of your leisure profile business description.
If you have entered an offer through MemberNet, it will now display on both the desktop and mobile sites. The desktop site has instructions to print offers for redemption, and Members may enter online redemption URLs and promo codes. The offers on our new mobile site should be redeemable by simply showing the coupon as it displays on the phone. If you have entered a bar code through MemberNet, this will also display on the mobile site to prevent fraud. Members should make sure that staff is trained to accept the new mobile coupons so our travelers have a seamless mobile experience.
We hope that the new mobile site will provide a valuable resource for our travelers and new opportunities for your business. In the coming weeks the SDTA will be offering display advertising opportunities and featured listings on the new mobile site.
