The travel industry continues to make strides in educating key stakeholders on the economic benefits of travel and tourism. This past Wednesday, the Administration once again put its spotlight on our industry’s ability to create more good jobs at a meeting hosted by the White House Business Council. The gathering, the first in a series focused on American economic competitiveness, was held between high-level Obama Administration officials and more than 40 U.S. travel industry leaders, including Rossi Ralenkotter, National Chair of the U.S. Travel Association. The Administration has also developed and distributed the following fact sheet that highlights the value of travel and tourism.

Engage with the Power of Travel Coalition on the need for expansion of the Visa Waiver Program, Global Entry and PreCheck. U.S. Travel will continue to do its part in Washington, D.C., and keep the industry informed and united.
