The doors are opening, and San Diego is ready to celebrate. From watching the Padres slam homers to witnessing some of the world’s best golfers to splashing in all the fun at SeaWorld, there is plenty of ways to mark California’s reopening.
Starting June 17, Petco Park will return to full capacity as the Padres take on the Cincinnati Reds. But baseball bats won’t be the only thing swinging this summer at Petco Park as the venue will host some high-profile concerts including Texas-based country trio Midland on June 30 and The Hella Mega Tour with Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer in August.
For the first time since 2008, the U.S. Open is back the Torrey Pines Golf Course. Running from June 17-20, the Open will host the world’s best golfers including hometown favorite Phil Mickelson and attendees will be required to follow California Department of Public Health newly issued guidelines.
The excitement is building with Legoland now open with no capacity limits. In addition, all the park’s attractions, indoor shows, shops and more will be open. Online reservations are still required and following state mask guidelines is highly encouraged for unvaccinated visitors.
Rally the family for some splashing fun this summer! Enjoy the many indoor and outdoor exhibits, attractions, shops, and restaurants at the fully reopened SeaWorld. While SeaWorld will return to operating at full capacity, reservations are still required for park admission. In addition, SeaWorld strongly recommends unvaccinated visitors to wear a mask during their visit.
