REOPENING SAN DIEGO INSTITUTIONS BRINGS VISITORS TO THE REGION

July 31, 2020 By Hallie Jacobs Leave a Comment

Businesses across the region are hard at work ensuring the health and safety of their patrons when visiting their establishments. With protocols and best practices in place, these five San Diego institutions are ready to provide guests fun, safe and comfortable experiences.

Old Town Trolley Tours

Earlier this week, Old Town Trolley Tours reopened its operations to welcome travelers back on the road. This popular company provides a unique way to explore some of San Diego’s favorite neighborhoods and hotspots aboard trolley cars. Guests can also discover San Diego by sea and land by hopping aboard a SEAL bus/boat. Experience the beautiful scenery our region has to offer by taking advantage of the Hometown Pass promotion. Find about Old Town Trolley’s safety measures here.

The Marriott Marquis and Marina

This stunning waterfront hotel has it all—panoramic views of San Diego’s scenery, luxurious in-room accommodations and, of course, proximity to a variety of iconic San Diego attractions. Relax in style by the pool or get more adventurous and rent a boat, kayak or Jet Ski. Want to explore Downtown by land? There are bikes for rent, too. The Marriott Marquis and Marina will open its doors on August 1. Check out Marriott’s commitment to clean here.

Fairmont Grand Del Mar

For the ultimate luxurious experience, guests can take advantage of the numerous accommodations at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Enjoy a round of golf at the private Grand Golf Club, then grab a bite to eat at one of several onsite outdoor dining options, including the Michelin-starred Addison. Looking to connect with nature? Be sure to stop by the concierge for a resort trail map, which details self-guided walking routes around the resort’s perimeter. Stay in style starting August 1. Find out about safety protocols at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar and the ALL Stay Well program.

The Manchester Grand Hyatt

The Manchester Grand Hyatt in Downtown San Diego is eager to welcome guests back to the hotel on August 2. Enjoy gorgeous eye-popping views, bayfront cocktails and poolside sunsets at this San Diego mainstay. With its location close to the bustling Gaslamp District, it is easy to enjoy all many outdoor dining options that now fill the streets. Don’t want to leave your furry friends at home. That’s no problem as the Manchester Grand Hyatt is a pet-friendly hotel. Learn about Hyatt’s Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment.

Hilton San Diego Bayfront

A room with a view awaits you at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, with guest accommodations overlooking the picturesque San Diego Bay. Starting August 11, the hotel will reopen and welcome visitors back to the property to experience its exclusive comfort and amenities. With a variety of dining venues, a jogging and walking track, a pool and endless activities in nearby Downtown, the Hilton San Diego Bayfront is a great staycation destination. Check out Hilton’s CleanStay program.
