During the last full week of September 2019, average occupancy rates among San Diego hotels ranged from 72.6% in Del Mar/Oceanside to 92.5% Downtown. All regions but one grew their average occupancy compared to the same week in 2018, with properties Downtown improving the most with 6.9% growth, followed by properties in Del Mar/Oceanside with a 4.0% increase. Average daily rates ranged from $111.63 in Escondido to $249.60 in La Jolla. All regions rose ADR compared to last year with properties Downtown increasing the most with 10.3% growth, followed by properties in the Point Loma/Airport area growing by 4.8% over last year.
