During the third week of September 2019, San Diego hotels saw average occupancy range from 74.3% in Escondido to 91.5% in the UTC area. All regions but one experienced solid growth in occupancy this week compared to the same time last year, with hotels in Del Mar/Oceanside improving the most by 10.7%, followed by properties in La Jolla and Downtown rising by 10.0% over last year. Average daily rates ranged from $111.93 in Escondido to $263.12 in La Jolla. Most regions rose in ADR this week compared to last year, with properties in Del Mar/Oceanside growing the most with 5.9% improvement, followed by Mission Bay hotels growing by 5.5% over last year.
