In the 31st week of 2019, San Diego hotel occupancy ranged from 84.4% in Escondido to 91.3% in Mission Bay. Compared to the same week last year, all regions contracted in occupancy, with Escondido reducing the least by -0.3%, followed by hotels Downtown which fell by -2.1%. Average daily rates ranged from $146.52 in Escondido to $317.00 in La Jolla. Only two regions surpassed last year’s ADR – Downtown grew by 1.2%, and I-15 Corridor grew by 1.9% over last year.
