During the week of Valentine’s Day in San Diego, occupancy rates dipped across the county while average daily rates continued to climb upwards. Occupancy rates ranged from nearly 68% in Escondido to 85% among Downtown properties, though most regions saw declines compared to the same period in 2018. The only two regions to have increases were properties in the I-15 Corridor at 10% growth and in the UTC area at 2.4% growth. Average daily rates ranged from $113 in Escondido to $237 in La Jolla. Most regions had growth in ADR compared to 2018, with properties in the I-15 Corridor area again leading at 10.8% growth, followed by properties in Mission Valley with 4.1% growth.
