International travel to the United States is an increasingly important avenue for driving new visitation to the San Diego region. The San Diego Tourism Authority relies on expanded air travel to help encourage international travel.
In partnership with the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, and San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, the Tourism Authority builds relationships with travel, tourism, and hospitality partners to elevate the travel experience and encourage new business in the destination.
San Diego International Authority created a new promotional video explaining the value of these increased international flights and the impact the new airport master plan will have on the region.
