We’re happy to share some great news from one of our transportation industry members! Torrey Pines Transportation was awarded the coveted 2015 National Operator of the Year in the 11-35 vehicle category at the annual International Limousine, Charter & Tour Expo. Of more than 2,300 firms of similar size across the country, the San Diego-based firm was recognized for representing the highest quality of service and expertise in the ground transportation industry across the country.
The show sponsors, Limousine, Charter & Tour Magazine and the National Limousine Association, explain that the Operator of the Year Awards celebrate excellence in the core function of the industry: how to run an outstanding limousine service. Winners are selected by a panel of six judges who score each finalist in six key areas of operations: customer service, community/industry involvement, use of technology, media and marketing, chauffeur training and safety performance.

Part of this success is due to Torrey Pines Transportation’s recent investment in all new larger vehicles for group work and in the all-electric Tesla S sedan.
