The ConVis Public Relations team continues to leverage the new British Airways flight from Heathrow to San Diego. In late January, PR traveled to the U.K. and held desk side meetings with key travel media in London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
We also successfully hosted 10 top Irish media during the month of February in San Diego. Visiting journalists were from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and represented the top daily newspapers like the Irish Independent and Irish Times along with key travel trade publications.
In February, PR hosted two TV crews from new U.K. travel programs. The crews filmed in a variety of San Diego settings and captured diverse activities and offerings, ranging from learning to surf at La Jolla Shores and making tortillas in Old Town, to visiting the San Diego Zoo and USS Midway Museum.
