The San Diego Bay will come alive as the America’s Cup World Series makes its U.S. debut. Consisting of four events spanning over nine days, from November 11 – 20, this international competition pits the world’s top sailors against one another as they compete in state-of-the-art AC45 wing-sailed catamarans.
The event is anticipated to bring in 100,000 international visitors to San Diego’s waterfront, where fans will enjoy a fun-charged festival at the America’s Cup Race Village located on Harbor Drive. Our staff and volunteers at the International Visitor Information Center (IVIC) will be in the middle of the action, poised to welcome visitors from around the world during this time. The event is expected to boost ticket sales and extended hotel stays during an otherwise slower period in the year. A great way to boost exposure through on-site advertising displays at the Visitors Center.
