Many thanks to members of the travel and tourism industry that joined us to support our fundraising efforts at the First Annual Tourism Industry Beach Clean-Up of Mission Bay and the ConVis “Save Our Fire Pits” Mixer on May 12. You showed we are committed to making a difference and understand that we have an important role to play in things that make our city such a wonderful place to call home.
Our partnership with the Hotel Motel Association (HMA) and the San Diego Foundation to raise money to cover the cost of maintenance of the 186 fire pits along our beaches and bays is ongoing, and we’re halfway there.
